This is 1 of 4 total boards I made using bloodwood. Due to exotics being very expensive and very hard to mill due to their density, I rarely work with them. They dull knives in machines very quickly and create a very fine sawdust. But when I do work with them I'm reminded of how gorgeous the wood is. My supplier got in a limited run of bloodwood and I couldn't resist scooping some up. I won't be able to recreate these boards, once they're gone, they'll be gone for good.
*Reason for discount: As seen in the last few pictures, a void in the wood opened up during flattening. At that stage of the build it's impossible to perform a surgery to remove it so the next best thing is to stabilize it as best I could with black epoxy.

Juice groove around perimeter
Rubber feet attached with stainless steel screws
Finished with Clark's food grade mineral oil and Clapham's beeswax
