This is 1 of 7 boards listed on my site that is made entirely of Big Leaf Maple which is native to the Pacific Northwest. It's softer than eastern hard maple but has, in my opinion, a much more interesting end grain. I live in the PNW and walk amongst these trees regularly, they are a special and in a sense, a mystical kind of species. There's a lot to see in the end grain.

Router carved fingerholds for easy lift & carry
Juice groove around perimeter
Rubber feet attached with stainless steel screws
Finished with Clark's food grade mineral oil and Clapham's beeswax

Comes with 200g. beeswax and several lint free applicator clothes, as seen in last pic. I recommend conditioning your board minimum once a month.
