I get asked often if I ever make mistakes with the patterned work I do and the answer is yes and this board is an example of one of those. As you can tell by looking at the pictures, the pattern is a bit off. During the construction process I glued some maple where I should have glued some cherry and put some cherry where I should have put some oak.
 
Aesthetically flawed but structurally sound :)

Polished to 400 grit for an ultra smooth finish
Juice groove around perimeter
Rubber feet attached with stainless steel screws
Finger holds in underside for easy lift & carry
Finished with Clark's food grade mineral oil and Clapham's Salad Bowl Beeswax
